Shana M. Sokolofsky is a Junior Attorney at Contreras Edin & Associates, S.C.. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota. Ms. Sokolofsky received her Juris Doctor in 2014 from Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish in 2011 from Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota.
Prior to joining Contreras Edin & Associates, S.C., Ms. Sokolofsky worked as an immigration attorney at a law office in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While attending Hamline University, Ms. Sokolofsky was a legal intern at the Advocates for Human Rights. She has experience working with individuals in a variety of immigration matters including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, naturalization, adjustment of status, consular processing, asylum, U visa and VAWA petitions.
Ms. Sokolofsky was born in North Dakota and continues to visit family there. When she is not at work, Ms. Sokolofsky enjoys spending time with her dogs and with friends and family as well as traveling, reading, and trying new foods.
